*Official statement from the band:*
Turns out that performing a full concert while carrying a tiny human was a touch too ambitious! I’ll be taking the next few weeks to rest and get ready to welcome this tiny little human into the world. The Aquatic Museum will take a short pause — and we’ll be back in 2026, full of life, stories, and new inspiration!
The Aquatic Museum – Pop-chamber music collective
Doors: 19h30
Start: 20h00
Duration: 75 min
Dive into the world of chamber pop with The Aquatic Museum! This interdisciplinary collective, founded by singer-songwriter Claire Parsons and musician and app developer Laurent Peckels, breaks down barriers to offer unconventional ways of creating, releasing and performing music. The Aquatic Museum’s carefully crafted compositions take us on a journey that reimagines the sound of indie music with a soundscape that blends the color palettes of jazz harmony, the delicacy of a chamber ensemble, and the energy of a pop band. Finely woven lyrics fall between the poles of musical minimalism, the epic, and everything in between.
For their concert at ArcA, they created a unique audiovisual experience in collaboration with Nina Schaeffer (lights) and Charles Stoltz (sound).
