LUMINAL by THE NIGHT FM

LUMINAL is a cinematic audiovisual work for spatial sound that combines electronics, piano, cello, violin, and reactive visuals. Through shifting emotional states, the piece traces a passage through prolonged darkness toward emergence, inhabiting the fragile threshold where perception, memory, and light begin to transform.
Rather than following a fixed narrative, sound continuously reshapes image and light in real time, unfolding as an evolving sensory landscape suspended between fragility and intensity. Light itself becomes an active source of sound, participating in a continuous feedback loop between movement, light, and image.
Through immersive spatial sound and responsive visual environments, LUMINAL invites the audience into a space of becoming, where transformation is not presented as a destination, but as a state to be inhabited.
