As part of the ‘Performing arts Focus in Luxembourg 2024’ by Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg, the ArcA welcomed choreographer Saeed Hani and his contemporary dance spectacle ‘The Blind Narcissist’ on stage on 8 November. Among the more than 130 spectators were numerous international guests from the art scene from all over the world.

Inspired by the Greek myth of Narcissus, the piece explored human egocentrism and its impact on others. In today’s world, where social media encourages self-expression and the search for validation, the concept of The Blind Narcissist is more relevant than ever. Dancers Robin Rohrmann and Gabriel Lawton performed brilliantly and delivered a message that left the audience in awe.

Saeed Hani will return to the ArcA in 2026 with a new dance spectacle, ‘Unveiling The Abstract’, co-produced by the Municipality of Bertrange. Performances such as these strengthen the ArcA’s position in Luxembourg’s cultural landscape and even put us on the map internationally.
